MOO + BOO ‘MACRAWEAVE Workshop’ Sunday 27th September 10-15:30Host: Emma Gilvear.I'm so excited to bring you this workshop!My love for tactile textured art and with my knowledge of weaving and macrame made me naturally combine the two to create the MOO + BOO Macraweave. In this class I will be teaching you the macrame knots I use in this style of wall art, creating a base to weave onto. In the second part of the class we will then go over a few weaving techniques to create texture and add colour to your piece. I will provide a beautiful selection of wool roving yarn and cotton ropes.//Suitable for// Ideally you will have some knowledge in either macrame or weaving but it is not essential. Complete beginners are welcome..//Whats included //All materials will be provided (but please feel free to bring your own driftwood, copper pipe, dowel to hang your piece 50-70cm length )Refreshments will be provided if requested and will be served in disposable cups .//What your day with MOO + BOO will look like //•10am:You will be welcomed with coffee/tea where we will then discuss our plan for the day followed by a macrame demonstration. .•12:30:lunch break, please bring along a packed lunchor alternatively you can visit one of the local cafes.•13:00:Weaving demonstration.It's now time to add texture and colour to your piece. •15:00:You will head home with your own macraweave hanging.A paper bag will be provided to take your hanging safely home in. *We may finish earlier than 15:30..//If you are bringing your own stick/pipe//To give your artwork a unique and personal feel, please feel free to bring along your own wooden stick, driftwood, copper pipe...ideally you want it to be 50-70cm in length. If you don't have your own, one will be provided for you on the day.  Most of my hangings are hung on driftwood, dowel or sticks I've collected in the woods.
